Sustainability

In the heart of the fiercely competitive cosmetic industry, our brand has embarked on a sustainability journey that aims to stay on the cutting edge of sustainability practices while bringing you competitively priced products.

In our pursuit of a more sustainable future, we've joined hands with esteemed organisations like PETA, OPRL, BEYONDLY UK Compliance Partner, CITEO (France), ERP (Denmark), LUCID (Germany), Planet Mark (Carbon Footprint & Net Zero Partner) and the CTPA (Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association). These partnerships reflect our dedication to ethical practices and environmentally conscious initiatives. We strive to be part of a world where beauty isn't just skin deep; it's about the planet and the people who call it home.

We know the path to sustainability is an ongoing and challenging journey for all cosmetic and Skincare brands, but we're committed to taking each step with purpose and transparency. With key partners by our side, we're confident that our sustainability will continue to improve as we move toward a brighter, more sustainable future for our planet and products.

Our action plan to date is:

  • Remove or limit all unrecyclable plastic use from ancillary packaging where possible; in progress since 2021.
  • All NPD undergoes a packaging process that uses the most recyclable materials possible, which has been in place since 2023.
  • Introduce a minimum of 30% recycled content into product components, where the product allows, to reduce the volume of virgin plastic consumed, in progress since 2023.
  • In 2024, we aimed to retrofit the existing Technic favourites to the most recyclable options possible and push on with the recycled content policy.
  • Throughout 2025, our in-house Sustainability Team have continued to drive sustainable practices within our organisation and across our wider business partnerships, ensuring no 'Greenwashing' is allowed.
  • 2026 sees major changes in how we report our Packaging materials, as the new EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) Government taxes are now in effect, meaning brands like ours are responsible for covering the costs of recycling our products. So, it is within our interests to ensure we use the most recyclable and environmentally friendly materials available, making our Sustainability journey a positive one, ensuring Government environmental targets are adhered to where and whenever possible.
  • We are making excellent progress in this process for a better Consumer experience, while working hard to ensure the sustainability of manufacturing. Although, like many businesses, this is still a work in progress, we are actively working on every new product launch, using the best materials to ensure recyclability.

Our ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) journey is progressing well, with our carbon measurement and Net Zero journey, which will be included in our Group's Annual Report, issued in April 2026. We are heading in the right direction with many positive changes, but the journey is long, and we work towards our year-on-year targets to ensure we keep on track for the Government targets.
